Overview
Beaucarnea recurvata is naturally found in semi-arid environments from southern USA to Guatemala growing in well-drained soil but with regular rain. It tolerates drought but is frost tender and is commonly grown as a potted house or patio plant but is also an excellent specimen for an arid garden. It has a low water requirement once established.
