Common Name: Dutch Box
Description: Buxus sempervirens suffruticosa is an evergreen dwarf compact dense shrub with a very dense growth habit. Leaves tend to be lighter in colour and rounder in shape than the more common English Box. It is tough, hardy and easy to grow. It will tolerate sandy and clay soils with regular summer watering. Dutch Box is perfect for miniature hedges, edging, patio plants or topiaries. It requires minimal clipping.
