Native to southern Africa, the Clivia is a hardy and water-wise understory plant. It prefers shade making it an ideal way to add colour to difficult areas of the garden. Clivia's leaves are long deep-green straps and it flowers with a brilliant orange bloom. Variants have been bred to produce a yellow flower. |
