Common Name: Snow Gum, White Sally

Description: Eucalyptus pauciflora is a wonderful, small to medium spreading, native tree which is amongst the hardiest of all eucalyptus species. In high mountain ranges, this variety will grow quite stout, whereas on the coast it will develop into a taller, more upright tree. It's trunk and branches can develop a crooked and twisted appearance and has smooth grey, white or creamy bark that is shed in ribbons. The snow gum's green leaves are glossy, thick, waxy with a broad curving shape. Flowering occurs from October to January in which small white flowers appear profusely. It is a beautiful shade tree for larger gardens.
